911 Support
All 808NetFone packages have e911 Support included. However, there are few very important differences between the e911 for 808NetFone and e911 for a
traditional phone line that you need to be aware of.
Important differences between 808NetFone E911 service and traditional e911 service:
|
Power Outages, Internet Service Outages, or Internet Congestion will Prevent You From Completing e911
Calls from your 808NetFone.So,if your electricity goes out or your Internet connection stops working, you will not
be able to make an e911 call using your 808NetFone.

|
You Must Tell Wavecom Solutions the Physical Location of Your 808NetFone Equipment. In order for e911
Support to work with your 808NetFone
service, the address we have on file for you must correspond to the physical location of your 808NetFone phone equipment. This
information allows us to correctly route your call if you dial 911. Thus, the address that you provide when you sign up for
808NetFone is the address that we send to the e911 database. It is your responsibility to update Wavecom Solutions with your new service address
if you move your 808NetFone equipment to a new location.
- If you relocate your 808NetFone within the state of Hawaii, you must call Wavecom Solutions at 808-791-3000 to update the address
of your 808NetFone's new location. It will take 24-72 hours for the change to be made in the e911 database.
Once the change has been made, your call will be routed to the Public Safety Answering Point corresponding to
the new Hawaii address you provided to Wavecom Solutions.

E911 Support for 808NetFone is only available within Hawaii. If you take your 808NetFone
equipment outside the state of Hawaii,
we highly recommend that you use a different telephone to dial 911. Because Wavecom Solutions is only able to route e911 calls within the
state of Hawaii, calling 911 from your 808NetFone from outside the state of Hawaii will result in longer connect times and the loss
of enhanced (caller name and address) information -- which will require you to verbally inform the operator of your physical
location and may result in a connection to an operator who may not be available (i.e., you may reach voicemail). Given these
limitations on the e911 service Wavecom Solutions recommends that you use a different phone to call 911 when outside of Hawaii and/or if
you have not updated Wavecom Solutions with the address where you are using your 808NetFone service.
